Yes, our products are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. They provide a lactose-free alternative for anyone who wants to eat a balanced, plant-based diet.

Valsoia encourages a healthy lifestyle and a varied, balanced diet. By using only vegetable fat instead of animal fat, we can offer a wide range of products low in saturated fat. Reducing saturated fat consumption helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Visit the Products section on our website to browse the products that are low in saturated fat.
Gellan gum is a naturally occurring polysaccharide that is used to optimise the consistency of some products, including plant-based drinks.
No, we do not use hydrogenated fats in our products, as stated on the label.
Yes, even solid vegetable fat contains some saturated fat. Valsoia is very attentive to fat content and undertakes ongoing Research & Development work to reduce the percentage of saturated fat used in its recipes as much as possible. We have chosen to use only ingredients from non-genetically modified plants.
We have very strict procedures in place. Monitoring is ongoing, not only when purchasing ingredients, but throughout the entire production chain up to the finished product being delivered and stocked on the shelves. This is to prevent any GMO material from entering the products.
All our products comply with current GMO regulations, which require producers who do use them to state that the product contains GMOs on the label. We also go one step further to protect and reassure our customers by following specific procedural production guidelines, regulated and certified by an external body.
Coconut oil is used in some products as it helps give products the required consistency and creaminess.
All the vitamins used in our products are plant-based and therefore suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, fights free radicals and promotes cell renewal. This is why we include it in some of our products.
Vitamins B2 and B12 are essential for our health and help our bodies release the right amount of energy on a daily basis. As part of a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy metabolism. A vegetarian or vegan diet can, however, lead to a B12 vitamin deficiency as it is normally absorbed through animal-source foods. Vitamin B12 supplements may be required for those following a plant-based diet. We incorporate it into our products to help you consume the recommended daily amount. For more information, we suggest talking to your doctor.
The soya beans used in our products comply with the NON-GMO requirement and come from Italy, Europe and North America, from select, qualified suppliers who guarantee safety and high quality standards.
As an additional safeguard and guarantee, we follow specific procedural production guidelines, regulated and certified by an external body.
All ingredients used comply with current legislation, and numerous self-check analyses are carried out to verify product safety.
We have chosen to use mainly sunflower oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter for their properties.

To store products correctly, we recommend checking the expiry date and storage information stated on the packaging.
Plant-based drinks that can be stored out of the fridge until opening undergo heat treatment. These products are processed at ultra-high temperatures (UHT) to increase their shelf life. This process preserves the nutrients and eliminates bacteria, making the products safe and storable at room temperature until they are opened.
As a general rule, if the Valsoia products you have purchased do not specify on the packaging that they must be frozen at -18°, we do not recommend that you freeze them. Freezing does not affect the safety or nutritional value of the product, but it may compromise its high-quality taste and texture.
However, if you use a Valsoia product as an ingredient in a recipe, your dish can be frozen following the correct freezing methods.
Always check the storage information (method and duration) on the label so as to best preserve the products.
We cannot guarantee the quality of our products beyond the expiry date. This is why we advise you not to use our products beyond the expiry date printed on the packaging.
We recommend checking the storage information on the packaging. The label indicates how the product should be stored, and for how long, before and after opening.
